"It would be fine if it were just me..."

"A photograph of a mug placed in the light by a window."
Deep within the silence of solitude, light lies hushed, biding its time.

It would be fine if it were just me, but...

That time when I felt so lonely and on the verge of breaking down wasn't due to my personality or my environment.

Many people think of loneliness as something to be dealt with "inside oneself."

But what I realized at the bottom of the darkness was that loneliness is not the darkness of the heart,

It was a profound silence born from a disconnection from God.

False cheerfulness is the last veil to conceal that silence.

When people force themselves to smile, it may seem like they are protecting themselves,

In fact, it covers a "spiritual rift" that should not be touched.

I was the same way.

Behind the smile, a quiet loneliness that no one could touch was slowly growing within me.

Eventually, my heart could no longer bear it.

How much easier things would be if this were just my problem.

However, the Bible does not call loneliness a "human weakness."

He says it's the darkness born from a disconnection from God.

In other words, loneliness is not a “mental illness,”

It is a phenomenon occurring in the deep layers of the spirit.

What surprised me was that the one who solved this inexplicable mystery was...

It's not about effort, willpower, or someone's encouragement,

It was the mystery of the Word.

When I encountered the story of God,

Loneliness is not "my problem",

It turned out to be a rift leading towards the light.

Loneliness is the silence before God speaks.

A place where light lies dormant, waiting in the depths of darkness.

If it weren't for that silence, I would never have known the name of the light.
